Tiffany Medina is a Denver based multimedia holistic artist. Inspired by her experience and perception, she uses materials that give her a sense of connection to the subject matter. Tiffany is currently attending RMCAD to fulfill her BFA. She is the Reach Community Studio facilitator at Redline Contemporary Art Center. Sharing space and likeness with various groups in the studio including people in recovery, people experiencing homelessness and community members who find therapy through creativity.
Architects of Change is her 5th annual exhibit as a Reach Studio Core Artist. She was awarded the inclusion of Hear/Say Denver, a science informed exhibition and discussion around the effects of high-concentration cannabis curated by Tya Anthony. Tiffany is published in Artist Talk magazine. She is a youth art mentor and co creator for several pieces with her mentees’, exhibiting at the YAM exhibition at Redline. Working with Eagle Rock School in Estes Park, a group of students are working with Tiffany on a collective mural project that will remain on display at the school. She has exhibited at several venues in the city of Denver and curates the revolving exhibition at St. John’s Cathedral.
Tiffany uses her artistry as therapy. Shifting her prolonged lived experience in survival mode to empathy and divinity through her connections in the world. She works through art and holistic care to ally with others to find relative motion. She is developing a concept that surrounds the topic of gun violence, youth mentorship and community building and creating safe therapeutic spaces for growth.
