A still life self-portrait. Being called a giraffe as a quiet, awkward tall girl growing up, caused me to hide my confidence and shy away from being comfortable in my own skin. Growing and learning that our differences make us beautiful, after crying about it allowed me to accept not only my different appearance but it pushed me to be open about the experience's I have that also make me unique. All the guards are down!
